So this summer we decided to make a summer fun list. We sat down at family night and came up with all the things that we wanted to do this summer. Some were stand-by's of swimming and family reunions, but others were new and exciting like riding a city bus. Some of the activities we did mutiple times, and a couple we still have left to do. (San Diego was postponed because Amber decided it would be more fun to stay in the hospital). The check marks are the number of times we did it.
There are a couple amazing things about the list: 1-We get to see that we have done a lot of fun things this summer-and we have written proof. 2-It helped us think "outside the box" and some up with some orginal and new things to do. This will probably become a little family tradition. Thank you to the Vernon family and others who really inspired us and made this a really great summer. We were sad for it to end!

Riding the City bus-that was a lot of fun-we went with some friends of ours, and the bus Driver asked "You guys don't ride the bus often do you?" People watched us as we took photos and laughed the whole time.

I really really like that idea! I do have to say that the things that weren't checked off seemed the most fun to me! I say, fall shmall! Do them anyway! :) Wish we were closer to play together!
