10 Years!

On December 29th, 2010 we celebrated our 10 year anniversary. We went away overnight for the first time in our marriage (other than Trek-which doesn't really count because we slept in separate tents). We started out the evening by doing sealings at the temple-what a great reminder and peaceful way to start our night. Then we went out to eat and stuffed ourselves silly. Afterwards we headed to this great resort in Scottsdale. It was pouring rain, and we still had to get some dessert, so the hotel van drove us over to get some ice cream. We shocked the valet guy when we told him that we were pregnant with our 5th child-he didn't believe us for the longest time. (Is it sad that we find so much glee in shocking other with the 5 child thing?) The hotel had the softest robs-can you tell we had fun with them?
The next day, the mountains were dusted with snow, and we were able to see the most amazing view. We walked around the resort and then headed to the Farmhouse. They have the best breakfast food around...so we continued stuffing ourselves with yummy food.
Neither of us can believe that it's been 10 years already? But then again so much has happened, sometimes it's hard to believe that it hasn't been longer. It's been a fantastic ride and we're so excited for another 50 more!
