Science Center with fun friends

During Christmas break Amber and the kids decided to go to the Science Center. We were able to meet up with one of Amber's friends from college-Carol and her family. Carol lives in OR, and came down to Phoenix to visit her dad. Carol and George have 5 cute and very well behaved boys. And we had a lot of fun exploring the museum with them. The Wiser's loved the aviation exhibit. We sat in a portion of a real airplane (even smelled like one). Then the kids were able to "fly" a plane and see how a throttle works.

One area we loved (no pictures) was the weather area-we were able to feel an earthquake, hurricane, tornado, monsoon, and more. the kids got a kick out of it. All the kids had fun in the pulley and lever area. One boy was able to out man several boys. Camden loved pulling himself up in the air. All the kids got a kick out of watching George ride a bike along a tightrope. The kicker was laying on a bed of nails. We all took our turn. They key was to get up on the bed when the nails were down and then to raise the nails up. When your weight was distributed, the nails don't hurt.

There were so many fun, interactive exhibits at the Science Center. Even the little kids got into it and really enjoyed playing with everything. All the kids loved "racing each other in the wheel chairs"

It was quite a sight with Carol's 5 boys and Amber pregnant with our 4 kids. We all had so much fun playing, learning, and exploring together. Amber and Carol. So fun to have facebook and other social media so we can find such great friends and plan get-togethers. Carol has a great family and her boys were so good.
