After hitting up the "free birthday food" (Krispy Kreme and Joe's) we celebrated at home. Kennedy was excited to get some new jewelery.
That weekend, we had Kennedy's party. She wanted to do something a little different, so we organized a scavenger hunt. Kennedy didn't want to have a winner and a loser (shows what kind of a tender heart she is), so all the girls went out together to collect all the items on the list. Then we enjoyed some princess cake.
Afterwards, we pulled out a bead kit. And all the girls made their own bracelet or necklace. They had fun being creative and chatting all the while.
Kennedy is such a sweet heart. She is very tender hearted. If someone thinks ill of her, she doesn't understand why, and will be very sad until she has befriended them. She doesn't like others to feel bad. Kennedy also has such a sweet and pure testimony. She will tear up pretty quick when she shares her testimony at Family home evening. She is a great help, and we are all very happy she is a part of our family.
