Miracle of Life

We have been waiting to plant a tomato plant in our "Topsy Turvy." Just when we thought the weather was right, we discovered that a mama Dove had made it her home. Amber was ready to dump the nest, when we saw that she was a speedy little thing and had already filled it with eggs. Feeling a "new" mom comradery with this mama bird, amber decided to let her stay and have the kids witness the miracle of life unfold. That mama bird was diligent-neither rain, nor Easton could deter her from sitting on that nest.
Then the day arrived that we saw more than one bird head. And low and behold there were 2 little birds. They were so very cute and so very little. It was fun to see them get bigger. And then it was funny to see 3 big birds try and share that tiny nest.
