Kennedy's 10th Birthday

What a fun, packed day! We woke up this morning wishing Kennedy a happy birthday. Then Easton wakes up and comes in with a Charger banner saying "Go Chargers!" He looked so cute. Then he donned a Bob the builder hat and came out with some tools. He is such a funny kid-always makes me laugh.
Kennedy was smiling from ear to ear. She has been waiting for this day for along time. We told her that she could get her ears pierced when she turned 10. So when did she plan to get them done...today after school.
Birthdays are fun around our house. You get to pick the menus for the day-Kennedy chose sunshine toast (toast with the middle cut out and a fried egg in it) and Enchiladas for dinner.
Then for lunch Amber took her out of school and took her out to lunch. they got her free birthday meals and ate outside and chatted. Then they walked downtown Gilbert, went into a boutique, tried on jewelery, and had so much fun. It was such a fun Mother/daughter day!

After school we headed straight for the jewelery counter. Once in the chair, Kennedy did look a little nervous, but she did great, and now she has some holey ears.
