We LOVE Neely Elementary and have been there since Kennedy was in preschool. When the kids started to get more involved, and wanting to do band and such, it started to get a little harder (because we had moved farther away from the school). So when a new school opened up near us (that was similar to Neely) we started to consider it. We were still in the thinking it out process when the last day of school came, but we did have the thought..."we may not be coming back." I think the kids knew it better than I did-I was in denial.
The kids were able to watch the 6th graders battle it out with the teachers at battle ship.
Then we had to get the proverbial picture at the front of the school.
