So one prime example of this was when Amber was at craft night making name blocks. She was able to help everyone around her decorate theirs, but when it came to her own, it took her hours. . .literally. And she had to have help. What happened to this confident person who was able to make decisions for everyone else? It's because it suddenly impacted her and/or her house. Well after an added tutoring session, this is what she came up with, and mostly on her own.
Unfortunatly both Travis and Amber are not great at this decision process. When our new house was being painted, both went back and forth about the paint until the whole thing was done-and it looks great! But they tortured themselves until then.
Does anyone else have these issues? or a way to solve them?

Oh, you mean being "paralyzed with indecision?" That's my name for the feeling.
It's funny that you mention this, Red. Chris and I have discovered (after only 10 years of marriage!) that we are very different from each other on the decision-making front... He makes a decision, and then sticks with it. I, on the other hand, research and weigh options ad nauseum. When I finally have to make a choice, I still reserve the right to change my mind at a later date. Drives Chris crazy. Makes me nuts that he can make such snap decisions. So, now that we know this about each other, we can work on dealing with the differences... :)
For the record, Addie's blocks look darling! You did a great job.
