One of Amber's friends has a bunch of property and as a result as her own little farm on that property. She invited Amber and the little kids over for some lunch and fun. With all the food homegrown and homemade, not only was it healthy but ultra yummy.
Then it was time to see the animals.
The turkey was so good-just sat there for the kids to pet.
The chicks were oh so soft. Does this picture remind anyone of a certain book?
And of course we had to collect eggs. She was nice enough to give us a dozen eggs. So fun to live in a farming type community and still have our Super taget down the street.
