Her first big decision of her little life was deciding when to have her baptism. She so wanted to get baptized in February, close to her actual birthday, but one set of grandparents were unable to make it due to work issues. So she had to decide if she was going to have it in February (the week of her birthday), or wait until March. She was in tears over it, but finally decided that she wanted her grandparents their so she would wait until March. (What a big sacrifice for her)
We had a little family party on her actual birthday. And Kennedy was so excited to receive her first real set of scriptures...with her name on them.
Then Kennedy was excited about planning her birthday party. She wanted to have a "late-night" party (where the kids come and stay late at night). So the girls all came and had pizza, watched a movie, painted toe-nails, and played until the late hour of 8:30. She loved it, and it was the easiest party we've done yet!

We've also started picking paint colors for the kids bedrooms and the bathrooms. Since Kennedy's birthday was first we thought we would do her bedroom first. Now for some reason, Amber thought it would be neat to do something different in each room. Kennedy loved this idea and finally decided she wanted squares. Shouldn't be too hard right? Now it wasn't extremly hard, just time consuming. It took us 1 1/2 saturdays to paint the whole thing. But it sure does look great. Hope she likes those colors for a LONG time.
First we measured and painted white for the lines.
Then we taped (oh the tape). And then we painted our pattern.
We let each child paint a square
And here is the finished look:

WOW! I love this room!! Too cute! Can you get Kennedy to come out of it or does she just love to sit in there and look at it? haha After all that hard work, I think that's what I would do :)
I can't believe you did this!!! It's so cute!! And yeah. . .it looks time consuming to say the least! It's amazing!! I sure hope she likes it forever, because I wouldn't want to paint over all that work. . .not even 10 years from now!!!
That looks awesome!!! Great job!!
It was fun to see all the different stages. Way to go, it looks super fun!
