It always seems that even with the best of intentions, things do not always turn out they way they are planned. We had everything laid out and ready to go, so much so that we were all ready really early. Not wanting to get there before the gates opened, we decided (more of Amber's decision) to hang out for a few minutes-mistake #1. And you know what they saw about idle hands....well that's exactly what happened to Easton's idle hands. He found the Vaseline jar-somehow got it open and stuck both hands wrist deep in. Have you ever tried to clean Vaseline off when you are (now) in a hurry? So although we were so early before, we were now running late. So even though things didn't go as planned, we were still able to get pictures, and see them file into their classrooms, ready for new adventures.

First Day of school
After a super-fun filler summer, school came all too soon. Kennedy was going into 3rd grade, and Camden has hit the big time with 1st grade. Even though Kennedy's teacher was not new to the school, she was new to 3rd grade teaching. Amber was a little nervous about that, but has been pleasantly surprised by an amazing teacher-Mrs. Harnish. Camden was able to get Kennedy's 1st grade teacher-Mrs. Topczewski-who we all absolutely adore and love.
Handsome little man-Camden
