We decided to take a second attempt at gardening. (Our first attempt was a few years ago, and it didn't quite turn out-didn't help that the neighborhood cats were using it as a litter box)
This time around we follow square foot gardening. Travis built some great raised boxes, and filled them with Mel's mix. I was in charge of the planting.
Here are some pictures of it after about 3 weeks.

We are so excited to see things growing, and it actually working. We have strawberries, peppers, tomatoes, carrots, onions, lettuce, spinach, peas, beans, watermelon, cantelope, cucumbers, squash, and corn. It's an experiment to see what works and what doesn't.
