We know this comes a little late, but since this was the last thing we took pictures of, we decided to be those friends that bore you with pictures of their kids in every pose you could imagine. Since church for us is at 8AM, we were those torturous parents who made their kids wait until after to see what the Easter bunny had brought.
Kennedy, Addie, & Camden with their baskets-they got underwear this year. We know that doesn't sound exciting, but our kids were begging to take a bath so they could then put their new underwear on-we have a corny, but fun family! (Don't worry, the Easter bunny didn't forget Addie, she got a diaper!)
(Trying to add video)
Next time I think we'll request that the Easter bunny make it a little harder and spread it out to multiple rooms if possible-they sped through it so fast and loved every second of it (cause it only lasted 30 seconds!)

Addie laughed the whole time while the kids were running around. Then she thought it was so neat that she got a basket too. A favorite of hers was shaking the eggs; she got really excited when one of the eggs opened and she discovered the candy!
After the Easter bunny, we had another kind of egg opening about the true meaning of Easter. Each egg had an object and a scripture about the last day of Christ's life, and we would talk about each one and it's significance. Our kids continue to amaze us about how much they really absorb during our 5 min family home evenings. Even Cam-man, who will be laying upside-down on the couch, acted out where the sword was put into Christ's side. Kennedy has these very articulate answers and seems to understand hard concepts like the Atonment.

You guys are mean parents!:) Do your kids not wake up early to peek? My kids get up at 5:00 on holidays, so we started the rule no getting out of bed until 7:00 and you have to stay in your room. Carly gets mad, but Lexi and Ashlee don't mind. They would for sure have problems with waiting until church was over!!
