Fabulous weekend

This past weekend was great! General Conference, good food, visiting with good friends-what's not to love?

General Conference is a world conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It's held in April and October and members gather for five, two-hour sessions to listen to instruction from Church leaders, and at which official Church business is conducted.
We were able to watch most of these sessions on TV. These talks were uplifting, amazing, and inspiring; afterwhich, we all just wanted to be a little better (and hopefully will be). Our goals after watching this session of Conference were to impliment doing more for others, listen (and follow) to the spirit more, and in gerneral be more loving.

Since it was a special weekend, we decided to make Monkey bread (also know as pull-apart bread). We take biscuit dough, cut it into smaller pieces, roll it, dip it in butter, roll it in sugar and cinnimon, dump it in a bundt pan or bread pan, bake until done, and enjoy the gooey goodness!

As an added bonus, we had some of our dear friends from Cedar City, who were in town for business, come and visit us for the day-Clay and Leslie. They are some good people and we just love them tons. The kids look forward to telling them all that they have been up to, and we just love visiting with them. We are so thankful for such good and close friends!
